EMF89 Intelligent Electromagnetic Flow Meter
High-Accuracy Magnetic Flow Measurement for Conductive Liquids
The EMF89 Intelligent Electromagnetic Flow Meter is designed for accurate and stable measurement of conductive liquids. With accuracy up to 0.2% of reading, a 1000:1 turndown ratio, and a wide sensor diameter range from DN10 to DN2000, it provides flexible measurement solutions for water, wastewater, chemicals, slurry and other industrial fluids.
EMF89 features a non-obstructive measuring tube with no moving parts, resulting in minimal pressure loss, low energy consumption and easy maintenance.
Key Features
- Accuracy up to ±0.2% of reading
- 1000:1 wide turndown ratio

- Forward and reverse flow measurement
- No need to disassemble the sensor for parameter-based flow direction setting
- Low power consumption, less than 15 VA
- Easy maintenance and converter replacement
- Straight pipe requirement: 5D upstream / 2D downstream
- Available in integrated and remote configurations
- Sensor sizes from DN10 to DN2000
Applications
Water & Wastewater
Suitable for municipal water supply, tap water networks, wastewater treatment plants and industrial water systems.
Chemical Industry
Suitable for conductive and corrosive liquids such as acids and alkalis, as well as process liquids.
Slurry & Two-Phase Fluids
The unobstructed measuring tube makes EMF89 suitable for fluids containing suspended solids, including mud and slurry.
Installation
For optimal measurement performance, EMF89 generally requires:
5D upstream straight pipe + sensor + 2D downstream straight pipe
where D is the nominal sensor diameter.
Why EMF89?
High Accuracy
Measurement accuracy is available up to ±0.2% of reading.
Wide Measurement Range
A 1000:1 turndown ratio allows measurement across a wide flow range.
Low Pressure Loss
The unobstructed measuring tube has no moving parts and introduces almost no additional pressure loss.
Easy Maintenance
The converter can be replaced without removing the sensor, helping simplify maintenance and reduce downtime.
Flexible Configuration
Multiple liner, electrode, connection and installation options are available for different process conditions.
